Ashraq Waterfront, Kuwait City
The Kuwait City waterfront became important when Kuwait restored its maritime ties with Iran and other GCC states. The fish market was revived, together with imported commodities market. The vision for the retail development concept is to celebrate the cultural ties to the Arabian Gulf with an active waterfront development along with entertainment and recreational areas, markets, shops and restaurants. The site is divided into three separate but unified zones of activity.
