Commercial/Historic Restoration
Carlson & Carlson office
building, Riverside
Zoning approvals are complete and building permits are issued for this
old/new building. The renovation will enhance the very old "barn"
building that dates to the 1920's. See Carlson
& Carlson.
Old Post Office, Greenwich
CWA completed a feasibility study for this historic landmark property
on Greenwich Avenue. The study included analysis of the building capabilities,
mechanical systems, and structural conditions. The development team
submitted a bid for the property.
Interiors
A&E Television
Networks, Stamford
23,000 sq ft of renovation to the existing A&E space at Harbor Point
is currently under construction. The work will enhance their tech
and editing spaces in a phased construction sequence.
Forester Capital, Greenwich
The renovation and expansion project for this financial services firm
is now complete. The new space accommodates additional professionals
and a fresh and healthy work environment. CWA is currently exploring
phased expansion options.
Thorndal Circle, Darien
CWA is providing on-going CAD documentation and interior design for
tenant spaces in the group of buildings known as Thorndal Circle.
Residential/Multi-Family
River Commons Apartments,
Norwalk
CWA is working with the owner, River Commons Associates, to formulate
strategy for the renovation of this older, 34 unit apartment building.
Documents have been submitted to the State of Connecticut, CHFA for
funding.
Meadowbrook II, Tinton
Falls, NJ
Zoning has just granted approval for this age restricted and
affordable housing project. A component of the program is apartments
for developmentally disabled individuals under the direction of The
Arc of Monmouth.
Club/Hospitality
Cuisinart Resort & Spa, Anguilla, BWI
Construction of the Spa building is complete and work on the new Tokyo
Bay Restaurant on the top floor is underway, scheduled to open in
December 2011.
The Country Club of Darien
The new locker rooms at the pool building are
complete. Initial design studies have been completed for two projects
slated for construction in 2012 and 2013. The first is the Half Way
House, a new free-standing building for golf and paddle tennis. The
other is a reconstruction of the old medallion room with alterations
to expand the grand ballroom.
Public/Academic
Greenwich Hospital
CWA continues work on various tenant spaces/doctor's suites for Greenwich
Hospital. These build-outs are located in older office buildings across
multiple towns of CT and NY. The most recent is an IVF clinic completed
in Tuckahoe, NY.
