David Woods and Lara Wood are certified as "LEED AP" and the firm is a member of the US Green Building Council, that manages the "Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design" program. CWA is pursuing LEED certification options for a number of current projects.

World of BIM -
Building Information Modeling is a hot topic in the AEC industry. CWA has used an internationally recognized CAD program, "virtual building" software since 1991 - Graphisoft's Archi-CAD. It provides a seamless platform from schematic design through construction documentation in building 3D modeling. This provides greater control in the construction process with better coordination through the end of construction.
Greenwich ARC -
David continues to serve on the town of Greenwich Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The town requires architectural review for commercial properties. ARC seeks to uphold design standards for historic properties as well as modern design.
Architectural Design Standards -
CWA assisted the town of Stamford in writing the architectural review standards for the city and assisted DSSD with the creation of a manual of suggested design and construction practices.
