The Waterfront at Aloha
Tower: Honolulu, Hawaii
The development of this historic waterfront
land is made possible by condensing passenger shipping at the Marine
Piers, 5 and 6. The remaining area, Pier 9 through Pier 13, was developed into “Aloha Marketplace”, a mixed use
assemblage of buildings. The master plan features the historic
Aloha Tower as the project beacon at the center of the plan. The
adjacent Irwin Park is combined with a continuous public promenade
connecting all parts of the development, along the water's edge.
Harry Culpen & CWA acted as "retail development & design consultant" to Enterprise Development Corporation, a division of Rouse.
D'Agostino Izzo Quirk Architects, is the architect of record.
