Tresser Boulevard, STAMFORD
The challenge of this project was in the constraints
of the site. A speculative design, the building was conceptualized for
the spatial needs of a small bank branch including short-term parking
and drive-up ATM service. Street level building access provides pedestrians
with walk-up ATMs. All teller and additional bank services are on the
second floor. Extensive sun-shading is incorporated into the modern
design to maximize interior daylight while minimizing heat gain from
the summer sun. The proposed design respects the generous setback requirements
imposed along the traffic artery of Tresser Boulevard.
