North Castle Partners, Stamford
This advertising agency was initially intrigued
by a downtown location and industrial character of an old “department store” building.
They envisioned the structure and high ceilings as the backdrop
for a their creative staff. The resulting design stripped away
the corporate appearances. An industrial / modern aesthetic
emerged from the building “technology” by using
rough hanging light fixtures, wood plank floors and patterned
carpets. Finally , curved and angular forms define the zones
of space and the division of company functions.
