There have been four expansions / renovations
of these offices over an 8-year period. The first space, of CWA design,
was for a 5-person office, with a principal partner. As the firm expanded,
so did their space, now taking over the entire floor of a clean rectangular
office building in Darien. This investment advisory firm had a conservative
approach to their offices from the start; very careful with spending
for maximum space utilization and simple construction with useful,
durable materials.
Technology has expanded with each renovation.
The lobbies have also moved to more convenient locations as the space
has changed. The finishes, take their clues from the dark wood trim
and light carpeting selected at the first renovation, many years before.
But, the palate has expanded over time, with better quality construction
and millwork detailing - always simple and conservative.
