Country Club of Darien, Tennis Pavilion
The most recent addition to the Country Club of Darien is the tennis pavilion. This narrow building is sited along a strip of land with it's long face toward the tennis courts. It replaces a "corn crib" that was converted into a "hut" at one time. The building features a long arcade of round columns or "veranda" where everyone can sit and watch matches or clinics on the courts, just below. It also houses the pro shop, changing rooms and a modest living room for relaxing after the hard faught contest.
