Country Club of Darien, Club hOuse alterations
The club’s grouping of buildings was converted from a dairy farm into a modest country club and golf course in the 50’s. This somewhat awkward facility served it’s needs well until the increased membership expressed greater expectations. The modernization and improvement program, has now progressed through the initial five projects including: grille room, pub room, locker rooms, board room, main ballroom and satelite kitchen. Supporting pre-function areas and the main entry hallway complete the renaissance.

The new tennis pavilion completed the phase 1 work.

The master plan has recently expanded to include, staff housing, and pool snack bar with locker alterations, pool entrance, maintenance building and main kitchen alterations.

Construction for next phase work should begin in 05.
