Admiral's Wharf, Stamford
A 40 acre mixed use development was envisioned
for the "West Branch" of Stamford Harbor. It comprised
1.12 million square feet with 600 apartments, a 200,000 square foot
office building, and a mixed use Maritime Center . CWA was in charge
of the design and conceptual master plan for the Maritime Center and
office segments. The 160,000. s.f. Maritime building included a nautical
museum on the ground floor along with a fish market, grocery store,
oyster bar, shops and a theme restaurant. A major catering service
and several banquet rooms were to fill the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor
was designed to have 21 live-work loft apartments offered as condominiums.
