Rippowam Park Apartments, Stamford

The Stamford Housing Authority turned over the Ward Homes apartment complex to The Richman Group of Connecticut. In the agreement, the developer committed to renovate all of the 400 apartments and make substantial additions, including a new community center and bring the project back into the marketplace as affordable housing and market value apartments. Twelve phases of construction were planned for sequencing the relocation of existing families, completing construction, and renting the renovated apartments.

An AIA Design award was presented to this project.
